I Wanted a True Mortgage Partner
Not too long ago, I was tasked with the responsibility of selecting a mortgage partner for the business line that I managed. My list of must-haves was as long as the dozens of potential partners that I explored. The list was compiled from not only my personal experiences, but from the experiences of others in the mortgage industry as well.
My search was for a true partner, not just a vendor.
I knew that I needed a partner that would dedicate staff to support my team. Scalability with the unpredictable highs and lows of loan volume was not an expense that I wanted entirely in my budget nor did I want the headache of justifying payroll with the peaks and valleys that accompany mortgage lending.
As you would imagine, compliance was at the top of my list. I needed a partner that would support me in those responsibilities while offering all mortgage fulfillment services. I also wanted flexibility with the fulfillment options made available to me, as my business needs changed over time.
My search entailed finding a partner with the ability to offer my borrowers a full suite of mortgage products. I knew the more arrows in my lender's quiver, the better we could compete in our market space.
I desired a partner that had a wide array of mortgage knowledge. A partner who was responsive to my teams' needs and who would aid in our success of providing a great borrower experience. Affordability and profitability would need to accompany these deliverables.
These were just some of the items that made up the long list of must-haves in my search for a mortgage partner, and led me to QRL Financial Services. I am confident that if QRL could check all the boxes for my team, when I was a partner, they could certainly check yours.
